1. Purpose of certification

A certification issued by Love The Right Way Academy indicates that the recipient has successfully completed the educational and training requirements established by the Academy for the applicable program. Certification recognizes completion of our training and demonstrated understanding of the principles, methods, tools, and coaching frameworks taught within the program. Certification does not guarantee employment, income, business success, client results, or eligibility for any government-issued professional license.

2. Coaching is not therapy

Love The Right Way Academy trains coaches, not licensed mental-health professionals. Unless a graduate independently holds the appropriate professional license, certification through Love The Right Way Academy does not qualify or authorize an individual to represent themselves as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), psychologist, psychiatrist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), medical professional, attorney, or any other regulated or licensed professional. Coaching generally focuses on goals, personal development, communication, accountability, relationship skills, decision-making, and helping clients develop practical strategies for moving forward. Graduates are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and professional restrictions that apply where they provide services.

3. Professional scope of practice

Certified coaches should provide services only within the boundaries of their education, training, experience, and lawful authority. Coaches should not diagnose or treat mental-health disorders or provide medical, psychological, legal, or other regulated professional services unless they separately hold the appropriate qualifications and licenses. When a client’s needs fall outside the coach’s training or scope, the coach should encourage the client to seek help from an appropriately qualified professional.

4. Professional conduct

Graduates representing themselves as certified through Love The Right Way Academy are expected to conduct themselves professionally and ethically. Certified coaches should: treat clients with dignity and respect; maintain appropriate professional boundaries; communicate honestly about their qualifications and experience; protect confidential client information consistent with applicable law; avoid misleading or deceptive claims; refrain from guaranteeing specific relationship, financial, personal, or business outcomes; obtain appropriate client agreements and informed consent; work only within their scope of coaching; and refer clients to qualified professionals when circumstances exceed the coach’s competence or scope.

5. Client safety and referrals

Coaching is not appropriate for every circumstance. If a coach becomes aware of immediate danger, threats of harm, suspected abuse, domestic violence, severe mental-health concerns, medical emergencies, or other matters requiring specialized intervention, the coach should prioritize safety and follow applicable laws and appropriate referral or emergency procedures. Coaches should never attempt to handle situations beyond their competence simply because they hold a coaching certification.

6. Use of certification title

Graduates who complete all requirements may use the certification title authorized by the Academy for the program they completed, for example: Certified Couples & Marriage Coach — Love The Right Way Academy. Graduates must not alter the credential or present it in a way that falsely implies government licensure, accreditation, academic degree status, or qualifications they have not earned.

7. Certification requirements

To receive certification, participants may be required to complete required training modules, course lessons and instructional materials, assignments and exercises, assessments or examinations, practical coaching exercises, case studies or demonstrations, required attendance or participation where applicable, and final certification requirements established by the Academy. Love The Right Way Academy reserves the right to establish and update reasonable certification requirements as its programs develop.

8. Certification does not guarantee business results

The Academy may provide education on coaching practice development, marketing, business systems, client acquisition, program development, and entrepreneurship. However, individual results vary. The Academy does not guarantee that a graduate will obtain clients, generate a particular level of income, build a successful business, achieve specific outcomes for clients, or obtain employment as a result of certification. Success depends on many factors, including individual effort, experience, market conditions, implementation, location, legal requirements, and business practices.

9. Independent practice

Unless stated otherwise in writing, graduates who establish coaching businesses operate as independent practitioners. Certification does not create an employment, partnership, agency, franchise, or joint-venture relationship between the graduate and Love The Right Way Academy. Graduates are responsible for operating their businesses in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

10. Certification status and professional standards

Love The Right Way Academy reserves the right to review the use of its certification name, credential, logos, and other intellectual property. The Academy may establish procedures for suspension or revocation of certification when there is documented evidence of serious misconduct, fraudulent representation of credentials, unauthorized use of Academy intellectual property, or significant violation of published certification standards. Any such process will follow the Academy’s applicable policies and procedures.

11. Educational disclaimer

Programs offered by Love The Right Way Academy are provided for educational and professional-development purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Academy’s coaching certifications should not be represented as government licenses, state professional licenses, college degrees, or authorization to practice a regulated profession. Participants are responsible for determining whether additional education, licensing, registration, insurance, supervision, or other requirements apply to the services they intend to provide.

12. Responsibility of the certified coach

Every graduate is responsible for knowing their scope, knowing their limitations, serving with integrity, protecting their clients, continuing to learn, and referring when necessary. Certification is more than a credential. It represents a commitment to professional responsibility, ethical service, and excellence.

Important notice

Love The Right Way Academy provides coaching education and certification. Academy certification does not, by itself, confer a government-issued professional license or authorize graduates to practice psychotherapy, diagnose or treat mental-health conditions, or provide other regulated professional services. Students and graduates are responsible for complying with requirements applicable to their location and intended services.

Requirements governing coaching and related services may vary by jurisdiction.
